Ligue 2 : Brest finish 5th after beating GFC Ajaccio
FRANCE, May. 19, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 38: Two wins in a row for Brest. After their 1-2 win against Bourg-Peronnas on May 12, Brest continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 6-2 victory over GFC Ajaccio this Friday.
Battocchio Cristian scored dual goals
Brest dominated the first half thanks to goals from Joseph-monrose Steven ('26), Diallo Zakaria ('28) and Grougi ('32 on penalty). Leading 3-0 at the break, Brest players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Diallo Habib '59 and Battocchio Cristian '73, '85).
