Ligue 2 (Week 1) : Valenciennes hold GFC Ajaccio to 1-1
FRANCE, Jul. 28, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2: Valenciennes and GFC Ajaccio opened the 2017-2018 season with an entertaining 1-1 draw on Friday.
GFC Ajaccio players started off well by taking the lead thanks to M Changama Youssouf in the 37th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Valenciennes with a saving goal from Guezoui Medhy in the 50th minute.
