Ligue 2 (Week 1) : Lorient and USQRM play to a 1-1 draw
FRANCE, Jul. 29, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2: Lorient and US Quevilly opened the 2017-2018 season with an entertaining 1-1 draw on Saturday.
US Quevilly players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Gakpa Marvin in the 38th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Lorient with a saving goal from Lorient midfielder Sylvain Marveaux on penalty in the 71st minute.
