Ligue 2 (Week 4) : Niort defeats Tours 2-1
FRANCE, Aug. 18, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 4: Two wins in a row for Niort. After their 2-0 win against Auxerre on August 11, “Les Chamois” continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 2-1 victory over Tours this Friday.
Niort dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Romain Grange in the 44th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, “Les Chamois” further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Roye on penalty in the 77th minute.
Chamois Niortais FC remains in fifth place with 8 points from 4 games, tie on points with FC Sochaux-Montbeliard.
