Ligue 2 (Week 5) : Brest beats Nancy 2-1
FRANCE, Aug. 25, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 5: Two wins in a row for Brest. After their 2-4 win against Lens on August 19, Brest continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 2-1 victory over Nancy this Friday.
Nancy had started off well by taking the lead in the 45th minute with a goal by Moroccan forward Youssouf Hadji. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Brest players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Pi '68 on penalty and Coeff '84).
Stade Brest climbed to 11st place with 7 points from 5 games, tie on points with US Orleans, which has a game in hand.
