Ligue 2 (Week 13) : Nimes beats Valenciennes 2-1
FRANCE, Oct. 28, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 13: Three wins in a row for Nimes. After their success against Orleans and Brest, the Crocodiles continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 2-1 victory over Valenciennes this Saturday.
Nimes forward Rachid Alioui opened the score in the 11th minute, before seeing Valenciennes catch up in the 19th minute thanks to Mothiba Lebo. 1-1 at half time. The Crocodiles eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Savanier with just 8 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Nimes Olympique climbed to third place with 25 points from 13 games, 2 points behind AC Ajaccio.
