MLS : Philadelphia defeats Columbus 3-2
UNITED STATES, Jun. 1, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After their 2-2 draw against Orlando City on May 28 and 1-1 draw against Colorado Rapids on May 28, The U returned to winning ways with a 3-2 victory over Columbus Crew this Wednesday.
Kamara Ola opened the score in the 14th minute, before seeing Philadelphia Union catch up in the 21st minute thanks to Pontius Chris. 1-1 at half time. The U eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Nogueira Vincent ('57) and Herbers Fabian ('84).
Philadelphia Union climbed to third place with 23 points from 14 games, 4 points behind FC Dallas.
