MLS : San Jose beats Toronto 2-1
UNITED STATES, Jul. 16, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After losing 1-0 to Chicago Fire on July 8 and 0-1 to FC Dallas on July 8, the Quakes bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Toronto FC this Saturday.
Amarikwa Quincy opened the score in the 30th minute, before seeing Toronto FC catch up in the 44th minute thanks to Morrow Justin. 1-1 at half time. The Quakes eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Dawkins Simon in the 70th minute.
San Jose Earthquakes climbed to 12nd place with 25 points from 19 games, only one point behind Portland Timbers.
