MLS : San Jose defeats Houston 3-1
UNITED STATES, May. 11, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After losing 2-0 to Seattle Sounders FC on May 7, the Quakes bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Houston Dynamo this Wednesday.
Quintero Alberto scored dual goals
Quintero Alberto opened the score in the 3rd minute, before seeing Houston Dynamo catch up in the 43rd minute thanks to Clark Ricardo. 1-1 at half time. The Quakes eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Godoy Anibal ('50) and Quintero Alberto ('70).
San Jose Earthquakes climbed to fourth place with 18 points from 11 games, only one point behind Los Angeles Galaxy, which has a game in hand.
