MLS : Columbus draw 3-3 with New York City

UNITED STATES, Aug. 13, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: New York City was held to a 3-3 draw by Columbus Crew on Saturday.

New York City players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Lampard Frank in the 41st minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite goals by Villa David ('84, '90 on penalty) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Columbus Crew with goals by Meram Justin ('49) and Finlay Ethan ('80 on penalty, '90).

New York City FC climbed to fourth place with 38 points from 25 games, tie on points with Los Angeles Galaxy, which has two games in hand.
