MLS : Columbus beats Revolution 2-0

UNITED STATES, Aug. 20, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After their 3-3 draw against New York City on August 13, the Black & Gold bounced back with a 2-0 victory over New England this Saturday.

Columbus Crew dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Finlay Ethan in the 8th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Black & Gold further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Higuain Federico in the 49th minute.

New England Revolution remains in 17th place with 26 points from 25 games, one point behind DC United, which has two games in hand.
