MLS : Philadelphia beats Revolution 4-0
UNITED STATES, Aug. 13, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After their 2-2 draw against DC United on August 6, The U returned to winning ways with a 4-0 victory over New England this Saturday.
Philadelphia Union dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Sapong Charles in the 2nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, The U further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Pontius Chris '51, Marquez Richie '54 and Alberg Roland '90).
Philadelphia Union climbed to 9th place with 34 points from 24 games, only one point behind Sporting Kansas City.
