MLS : Kansas City draw 3-3 with Houston
UNITED STATES, Sep. 9, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: The match between Sporting Kansas City and Houston Dynamo ended in a 3-3 draw on Friday.
Sporting Kansas City players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Peterson Jacob ('14) and Espinoza Roger ('26) while Houston Dynamo only scored once Manotas Mauro ('30). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, and despite Dwyer Dominic goal ('81) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Houston Dynamo with goals by Alex Lima ('59) and Rodriguez Raul ('90).
Sporting Kansas City remains in 9th place with 39 points from 29 games, one point behind Philadelphia Union, which has a game in hand.
