MLS : Seattle beats Colorado 3-1
UNITED STATES, Jul. 4, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: After their 1-1 draw against Orlando City on June 25 and 2-2 draw against Portland Timbers on June 25, the Rave Green returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over the Colorado Rapids this Tuesday.
Dempsey Clint scored dual goals
Seattle Sounders FC dominated the first half thanks to goals from Dempsey Clint ('6) and Bruin Will ('30). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Rave Green further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Dempsey Clint with just 5 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Seattle Sounders FC climbed to 12nd place with 24 points from 19 games, only one point behind Houston Dynamo, which has a game in hand.
