MLS : New York City draw 2-2 with Toronto

UNITED STATES, Jul. 19, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: The match between actual leader Toronto FC and New York City ended in a frustrating 2-2 draw on Wednesday.

One goal for both sides in the first half, Villa David ('45) for New York City, Morgan Ashtone ('11) for Toronto FC and one each in the second, Moralez Maximiliano ('56) for New York City, Vazquez Victor ('90 on penalty) for Toronto FC.

Toronto FC climbed to first place with 39 points from 20 games, one point ahead of runner-up Chicago Fire SC, which has a game in hand.
