MLS : Orlando defeats DC United 2-1
UNITED STATES, Sep. 9, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: After losing 1-2 to Vancouver Whitecaps on September 2 and 4-0 to New England on September 2, the Lions bounced back with a 2-1 victory over DC United this Saturday.
Orlando City dominated the first half thanks to goals from Larin Cyle ('19) and Barnes Giles ('28). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Lions further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
Orlando City SC climbed to 17th place with 34 points from 28 games, only one point behind Real Salt Lake.
