MLS : Real Salt Lake beats Kansas City 2-1

UNITED STATES, Oct. 22, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: After losing 1-0 to Colorado Rapids on October 15, the Royals returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Sporting Kansas City this Sunday.

Real Salt Lake dominated the first half thanks to goals from Silva Luis ('3) and Lennon Brooks ('41). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Royals further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.

Sporting Kansas City are down in 11st place with 49 points from 34 games, one point behind New York Red Bulls.
