MLS : Real Salt Lake beats LA Galaxy 6-2
UNITED STATES, Jul. 4, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: After losing 2-1 to San Jose Earthquakes on June 30 and 0-1 to Orlando City on June 30, the Royals bounced back with a 6-2 victory over LA Galaxy this Tuesday.
Savarino Jefferson scored dual goals
Real Salt Lake dominated the first half thanks to goals from Rusnak Albert ('36) and Beckerman Kyle ('45). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Royals further widened their lead in the second period by scoring four times (Movsisyan Yura '62, Savarino Jefferson '72, '77 and Plata Joao '80).
Los Angeles Galaxy are down in 15th place with 22 points from 18 games, tie on points with Philadelphia Union, which has a game in hand.
