MLS : Vancouver beats LA Galaxy 1-0
UNITED STATES, Jul. 19, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: Two wins in a row for Vancouver Whitecaps. After their 3-2 win against New York City on July 5, the Caps continued their sensational form in the MLS with a 1-0 victory over LA Galaxy this Wednesday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Tchani Tony in the 64th minute.
Vancouver Whitecaps FC climbed to 13rd place with 27 points from 18 games, tie on points with Seattle Sounders FC.
