APIA, Mar. 18, 2002 (AMP) — New Zealand 2002 (Qualifiers) : Papua New Guinea defeated the American Samoa by a big score of 7-0 (halftime: 4-0), in a OFC Nations Cup qualifying game (Qualifying Tournament) on Monday at the National Soccer Stadium in Apia. Papua New Guinea secured their ticket to the OFC Nations Cup finals. American Samoa is eliminated.
