ENGLAND, Sep. 20, 2014 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 5: After their 2-2 draw against Hull on September 15, the Hammers returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Liverpool this Saturday.
West Ham dominated the first half thanks to goals from Reid ('2) and Sakho ('7). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Hammers further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Amalfitano with just 2 minutes remaining in regulation time.
West Ham United climbed to 8th place with 7 points from 5 games, tie on points with Tottenham Hotspur, which has a game in hand.
