Premier League (Week 11) : Chelsea beats Liverpool 2-1
ENGLAND, Nov. 8, 2014 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 11: Two wins in a row for Chelsea. After their 2-1 win against QPR on November 1, the Blues continued their sensational form in the Premier League with a 2-1 victory over Liverpool this Saturday.
Liverpool midfielder Emre Can opened the score in the 9th minute, before seeing Chelsea catch up in the 14th minute thanks to Gary Cahill. 1-1 at half time. The Blues eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Costa in the 67th minute.
Chelsea remains in first place with 29 points from 11 games, a 7-point lead over runner-up Southampton, which has a game in hand.
