Premier League (Week 12) : Aston Villa and Southampton play out 1-1 draw
ENGLAND, Nov. 24, 2014 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 12: Southampton was held to a 1-1 draw by Aston Villa on Monday.
Aston Villa players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Aston Villa forward Gabriel Agbonlahor in the 29th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Southampton with a saving goal from Southampton defender Nathaniel Clyne in the 81st minute.
Southampton remains in second place with 26 points from 12 games, 6 points behind Chelsea.
