ENGLAND, Oct. 18, 2014 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 8: After losing 1-0 to Tottenham on October 5, the Saints returned to winning ways with a 8-0 victory over Sunderland this Saturday.
Graziano Pellè scored dual goals
Southampton dominated the first half thanks to goals from Vergini ('12 own), Pellè ('18) and Cork ('37). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Saints further widened their lead in the second period by scoring five times (Bridcutt '63/own, Pellè '69, Tadic '78, Wanyama '79 and Mane '86).
Southampton remains in third place with 16 points from 8 games, one point behind Manchester City FC.
