Premier League (Week 8) : Chelsea beats Crystal Palace 2-1
ENGLAND, Oct. 18, 2014 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 8: Three wins in a row for Chelsea. After their success against Aston Villa and Arsenal, the Blues continued their sensational form in the Premier League with a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace this Saturday.
Chelsea dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Brazilian midfielder Oscar in the 6th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Blues further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Fàbregas in the 51st minute.
Chelsea remains in first place with 22 points from 8 games, a 5-point lead over runner-up Manchester City FC.
