Premier League (Week 14) : Burnley hold Newcastle to 1-1
ENGLAND, Dec. 2, 2014 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 14: The match between Burnley and Newcastle ended in a 1-1 draw on Tuesday.
Burnley players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Scottish forward George Boyd in the 34th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Newcastle with a saving goal from Senegalese forward Cisse in the 48th minute.
Newcastle United are down in 10th place with 20 points from 14 games, tie on points with Tottenham Hotspur, which has a game in hand.
