ENGLAND, Oct. 25, 2015 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 10: After losing 1-0 to West Brom on October 17, the Rokerites returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Newcastle this Sunday.
Sunderland dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Adam Johnson in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Rokerites further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Jones '65 and Fletcher '86).
Sunderland climbed to 18th place with 6 points from 10 games, 2 points behind AFC Bournemouth, which has a game in hand.
