Premier League (Week 22) : Aston Villa and Leicester tied at 1-1
ENGLAND, Jan. 16, 2016 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 22: Leicester was held to a 1-1 draw by Aston Villa on Saturday.
Leicester players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Japanese forward Shinji Okazaki in the 28th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Aston Villa with a saving goal from French forward Gestede Rudy in the 75th minute.
Leicester City climbed to first place with 44 points from 22 games, one point ahead of runner-up Manchester City FC.
