Premier League (Week 22) : Tottenham beats Sunderland 4-1

ENGLAND, Jan. 16, 2016 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 22: After losing 0-1 to Leicester on January 13, the Spurs bounced back with a 4-1 victory over Sunderland this Saturday.

Christian Eriksen scored dual goals

Sunderland defender Patrick van Aanholt opened the score in the 40th minute, before seeing Tottenham catch up in the 42nd minute thanks to Christian Eriksen. 1-1 at half time. The Spurs eventually won the game in the second period with three more goals by Dembélé ('59), Eriksen ('67) and Kane ('79 on penalty).

Tottenham Hotspur remains in fourth place with 39 points from 22 games, one point behind Manchester City FC, which has a game in hand.
