ENGLAND, Mar. 2, 2016 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 28: Three wins in a row for Stoke City. After their success against Bournemouth and Aston Villa, Stoke City continued their sensational form in the Premier League with a 1-0 victory over Newcastle this Wednesday.
45 minutes of play and neither Stoke City nor Newcastle have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Swiss midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri with just 10 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Stoke City climbed to 7th place with 42 points from 28 games, only one point behind West Ham United, which has a game in hand.
