Premier League (Week 3) : Tottenham and Liverpool play to a 1-1 draw
ENGLAND, Aug. 27, 2016 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 3: The match between Tottenham and Liverpool ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Liverpool players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Liverpool midfielder James Milner on penalty in the 43rd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Tottenham with a saving goal from Tottenham defender Danny Rose in the 72nd minute.
Tottenham Hotspur climbed to fifth place with 5 points from 3 games, only one point behind Chelsea, which has a game in hand.
