ENGLAND, Aug. 27, 2016 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 3: Two wins in a row for Everton. After their 1-2 win against West Brom on August 20, the Toffees continued their sensational form in the Premier League with a 1-0 victory over Stoke City this Saturday.
Stoke City made Everton doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Irish goalkeeper Shay Given into his own net in the 51st minute.
Everton climbed to second place with 7 points from 3 games, 2 points behind Chelsea.
