Premier League (Week 2) : Everton defeats West Brom 2-1

ENGLAND, Aug. 20, 2016 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 2: After their 1-1 draw against Tottenham on August 13, the Toffees returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over West Brom this Saturday.

West Brom defender Gareth McAuley opened the score in the 9th minute, before seeing Everton catch up in the 45th minute thanks to Kevin Mirallas. 1-1 at half time. The Toffees eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Barry in the 60th minute.

Everton climbed to fifth place with 4 points from 2 games, 2 points behind Chelsea.
