Premier League (Week 1) : Everton and Tottenham play to a 1-1 draw
ENGLAND, Aug. 13, 2016 (AMP) — Premier League: Everton and Tottenham opened the 2016-2017 season with an entertaining 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Everton players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Everton midfielder Gareth Barry in the 5th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Tottenham with a saving goal from Argentine forward Erik Lamela in the 59th minute.
