ENGLAND, Aug. 19, 2016 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 2: Two wins in a row for Manchester United. After their 1-3 win against Bournemouth on August 14, the Red Devils continued their sensational form in the Premier League with a 2-0 victory over Southampton this Friday.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored dual goals
Manchester United dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Swedish forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the 36th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Red Devils further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Ibrahimovic on penalty in the 52nd minute.
Manchester United FC remains in first place with 6 points from 2 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up Liverpool, which has a game in hand.
