ENGLAND, Sep. 18, 2016 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 5: Two wins in a row for Crystal Palace. After their 1-2 win against Middlesbrough on September 10, the Eagles continued their sensational form in the Premier League with a 4-1 victory over Stoke City this Sunday.
Crystal Palace dominated the first half thanks to goals from Tomkins ('9) and Dann ('11). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Eagles further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (McArthur '71 and Townsend '75).
Crystal Palace climbed to 8th place with 7 points from 5 games, only one point behind Tottenham Hotspur, which has a game in hand.
