Premier League (Week 6) : Southampton defeats West Ham 3-0
ENGLAND, Sep. 25, 2016 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 6: Two wins in a row for Southampton. After their 1-0 win against Swansea on September 18, the Saints continued their sensational form in the Premier League with a 3-0 victory over West Ham this Sunday.
Southampton dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Charlie Austin in the 40th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Saints further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Tadic '62 and Ward-Prowse '90).
Southampton climbed to 9th place with 8 points from 6 games, 2 points behind Chelsea.
