Premier League (Week 14) : Chelsea defeats Man City 3-1
ENGLAND, Dec. 3, 2016 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 14: 8 wins in a row for Chelsea. After their success against Hull, Leicester, Manchester United, Southampton, Everton, Middlesbrough and Tottenham, the Blues continued their sensational form in the Premier League with a 3-1 victory over Manchester City this Saturday.
Manchester City had started off well by taking the lead in the 45th minute with an own goal by defender Gary Cahill. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Blues nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Costa Diego '60, Willian Da Silva '71 and Hazard '90).
Chelsea remains in first place with 34 points from 14 games, a 4-point lead over runner-up Liverpool, which has a game in hand.
