Premier League (Week 14) : Arsenal defeats West Ham 5-1

ENGLAND, Dec. 3, 2016 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 14: Two wins in a row for Arsenal. After their 3-1 win against Bournemouth on November 27, the Gunners continued their sensational form in the Premier League with a 5-1 victory over West Ham this Saturday.

Alexis Sánchez scored dual goals

Arsenal dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by German midfielder Mesut Özil in the 24th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Gunners further widened their lead in the second period by scoring four times (Sánchez '72, '80, Oxlade-Chamberlain '84 and Ayew '86).

Arsenal climbed to second place with 31 points from 14 games, 3 points behind Chelsea.
