Premier League (Week 32) : Liverpool defeats Stoke City 2-1
ENGLAND, Apr. 8, 2017 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 32: After their 2-2 draw against Bournemouth on April 5, the Reds returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Stoke City this Saturday.
Stoke City had started off well by taking the lead in the 44th minute with a goal by forward Walters Jonathan. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Reds nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Coutinho '70 and Firmino Roberto '72).
Liverpool remains in third place with 63 points from 32 games, 5 points behind Tottenham Hotspur, which has a game in hand.
