Premier League (Week 4) : Watford beats Southampton 2-0

ENGLAND, Sep. 9, 2017 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 4: After their 0-0 draw against Brighton & Hove Albion on August 26, the Hornets returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Southampton this Saturday.

Watford dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by French midfielder Abdoulaye Doucouré in the 38th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Hornets further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Janmaat in the 66th minute.

Watford FC climbed to fourth place with 8 points from 4 games, only one point behind Chelsea.
