ENGLAND, Sep. 16, 2017 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 5: Three wins in a row for Newcastle. After their success against West Ham and Swansea, the Magpies continued their sensational form in the Premier League with a 2-1 victory over Stoke City this Saturday.
Newcastle dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Ghanaian forward Atsu Christian in the 19th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Magpies further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Lascelles in the 68th minute.
Newcastle United climbed to fourth place with 9 points from 5 games, tie on points with Chelsea, which has a game in hand.
