Premier League (Week 16) : Tottenham beats Stoke City 5-1

ENGLAND, Dec. 9, 2017 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 16: After their 1-1 draw against Watford on December 2, the Spurs bounced back with a 5-1 victory over Stoke City this Saturday.

Harry Kane scored dual goals

Tottenham dominated the first half as a result of the unfortunate own goal scored by defender Ryan Shawcross in the 21st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Spurs further widened their lead in the second period by scoring four times (Son Heung-min '53, Kane '54, '65 and Eriksen '74).

Tottenham Hotspur climbed to fifth place with 28 points from 16 games, only one point behind Liverpool, which has a game in hand.
