PORTUGAL, Aug. 17, 2014 (AMP) — Primeira Liga: SL Benfica won their first game of season against FC Paços de Ferreira.
Benfica dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Uruguayan defender Pereira in the 25th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Eagles further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Salvio in the 72nd minute.
