Primeira Liga (Week 4) : Moreirense and Rio Ave play out 1-1 draw
PORTUGAL, Sep. 13, 2014 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 4: Rio Ave was held to a 1-1 draw by Moreirense on Saturday.
Rio Ave players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Brazilian defender Lopes in the 28th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Moreirense with a saving goal from Moreirense midfielder Vítor Gomes in the 47th minute.
Rio Ave FC remains in first place with 10 points from 4 games, tie on points with runner-up SL Benfica.
