PORTUGAL, Apr. 11, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 28: Two wins in a row for Benfica. After their 3-1 win against Nacional on April 4, the Eagles continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 5-1 victory over Académica Coimbra this Saturday.
Jonas scored dual goals
Benfica dominated the first half thanks to goals from Jardel ('8), Jonas ('11) and Lima ('19 on penalty). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Eagles further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Jonas '53 and Fejsa '84).
SL Benfica remains in first place with 71 points from 28 games, a 6-point lead over runner-up FC Porto, which has a game in hand.
