Primeira Liga (Week 23) : Benfica defeats Estoril 6-0
PORTUGAL, Feb. 28, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 23: Three wins in a row for Benfica. After their success against Vitoria Setubal and Moreirense, the Eagles continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 6-0 victory over Estoril this Saturday.
Jonas scored dual goals
Benfica dominated the first half thanks to goals from Luisao ('17), Salvio ('26), Pizzi ('33) and Jonas ('35). Leading 4-0 at the break, the Eagles further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Lima '56/penalty and Jonas '86).
SL Benfica remains in first place with 59 points from 23 games, a 7-point lead over runner-up FC Porto, which has a game in hand.
