Primeira Liga (Week 24) : Benfica defeats Arouca 3-1
PORTUGAL, Mar. 8, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 24: Four wins in a row for Benfica. After their success against Vitoria Setubal, Moreirense and Estoril, the Eagles continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 3-1 victory over Arouca this Sunday.
Lima scored dual goals
Arouca had started off well by taking the lead in the 7th minute with a goal by forward Iuri Medeiros. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Eagles nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Jonas '51 and Lima '56, '76).
SL Benfica remains in first place with 62 points from 24 games, a 4-point lead over runner-up FC Porto.
