PORTUGAL, Mar. 8, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 24: After a 1-0 victory over Maritimo on February 27, the Vimaranenses lost 3-1 against Boavista.
Vitoria Guimaraes had started off well by taking the lead in the 22nd minute with a goal by midfielder Alex on penalty. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Panthers nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Čech '63, Uchebo '68 and Manuel '86).
Vitoria SC remains in fifth place with 40 points from 24 games, 6 points behind SG Braga.
