PORTUGAL, Mar. 8, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 24: After losing 1-2 to Belenenses on February 27 and 1-0 to Vitoria Guimaraes on February 27, the Verde-Rubros bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Paços de Ferreira this Sunday.
Maritimo forward António Xavier opened the score in the 2nd minute, before seeing Paços de Ferreira catch up in the 30th minute thanks to Jean Michaël Seri. 1-1 at half time. The Verde-Rubros eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Weeks in the 75th minute.
FC Paços de Ferreira remains in 7th place with 33 points from 24 games, 2 points behind CF Os Belenenses.
